When built-in temperature control is not needed, Excella open-air shakers are the solution. Ruggedly-built for use on the bench, in an incubator, or in a warm- or cold-room, these shakers are available in three sizes. The Excella microprocessor controlled, heavy-duty counterbalanced drives provide years of continuous, quiet operation. Excella shakers are available with a large selection of accessories to accommodate a wide range of flasks, test tubes and general labware. Like most New Brunswick shakers, Excella platforms, clamps and accessories are interchangeable with earlier NBS models. All Excella shakers meet cETL, UL, CSA and CE standards. Microprocessor-controlled with digital display, the Excella model E2 accommodates flasks up to 500 mL on an 11" x 13" accessory platform.

- Self-correcting microprocessor controller automatically compensates for changes in workload and voltage to maintain operator-programmed setpoints
- Audible and visible alarms additionally alert the user to setpoint deviations. Audible alarm can be muted.
- Unique acceleration/deceleration circuit eliminates wetting of flask closures which could interfere with oxygen transfer which also prevents sudden starts & stops
- Reference calibrations allow the shaker to be set manually for reproducible results from one run to the next
